Glady’s story
Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima in Peru, where Gladys was working. A cancelled plane to Havana and the help of chance led to her meeting Douglas there, whom she later married.
Now they and their six-year old son Nicklas live in Flemingsberg.
The embroidery on the chair is a combination of a pilot’s map and a traditional Peruvian pattern, the reverse side is inspired by Blekinge needlework, Swedish arts and crafts embroidery.
