A bird of a different feather
I moved to Dalsland just over a year ago. Although I grew up in a small village in the countryside, fifteen years in a big city has made me feel that I don’t really belong in my new home area. The “donkduck” was the result of my playing with parts of toys, which I sometimes spend time doing. To start with,
I just laughed at my own happy combination. However, the more I looked at this strange bird, the more I identified with it. With big ears and eyes, I listen to new voices and new impressions, and with an uncertain smile,
I try to show that I will do my best. I will probably always be a bird of a different feather but where a “donkduck” is happy and can develop, anything can happen.
